Article Processing Charges

Policy Overview

Star Mountain Publishing adopts the open access model. All journals are fully open access, publishing under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. To ensure the sustainability and high quality of this publishing model, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to accepted manuscripts.

Our APC policy is built on the following principles:

  • Sustainability: To ensure the financial stability of journal operations and safeguard publication quality.
  • Equity: To help reduce economic barriers for eligible authors through case-by-case discounts and partial or full waivers.
  • Transparency: To disclose fee structures and their utilization openly, subject to academic community oversight.
  • Inclusivity: To support researchers from diverse economic backgrounds worldwide in participating equally in scholarly exchange.

Article Processing Charges

The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers the entire workflow from manuscript acceptance to permanent archiving. A standard APC of USD 150 is required for each accepted peer-reviewed article. We maintain complete fee transparency with no hidden charges. We are committed to keeping the APC at the lowest feasible level, balancing sustainable publishing and minimized financial burden for authors.

The Publisher reserves the right to offer discounts to reviewers and scholars from low-income countries. Full or partial waivers may be granted at the Publisher’s discretion; requests should be made upon submission.
